Original Toronto Star caption: A Handout for geese that stay home. Dozens of greedy Canada geese swarm around Megan Harris; who's 22 months old; yesterday in Lakeside Park; on Lake Ontario at Bronte. She took a pail of corn to the park and scattered it around for the geese. Because so many people feed them; hundreds of the birds spend the winter in the Oakville area; instead of migrating south as the species naturally does. It can't be the weather that keeps them here: Tomorrow is expected to be windy and cold; with a high of -2C.
