Original Toronto Star caption: Old but they can still cut it. The sawdust was flying during the weekend when Roy Botterill (left) cranked up this 1906 Massey-Sawyer steam engine and used it to drive the massive circular of a portable log-cutting sled manned by Sherwood Hume (seated; photo right). The giant steam engine weighs 11 1/2 tons. Equipment cut planks for use in Burlington's Bronte Creek Provincial Park. There were also demontrations of chair caning and bread-baking and an old-fashioned quilting bee. But the star of the weekend was the machinery; kept in mint condition by the Antique Preservers Association.
