Original Toronto Star caption: Pedestrians win a another 5 blocks. Five more blocks of Toronto's busiest street were surrendered to the pedestrian today as the Yonge St. mall was extended north to include the Dundas-Gerrard Sts. Section. The traffic-free haven for strollers and lovers of outdoor dining was also hoped to be a boon to the dozens of business that line the thoroughfare.
